It takes 3 to 4 weeks to format and download all relevant Bank Data to run ECM

 

What Reports does ECM Provide Monthly?

ECM refreshes the Portfolio and all  Sub Portfolio Loss Forecasts and Provision calculations monthly, It refreshes and reports risk coefficients for all characteristics to track and measure Performance  Management, also individual loan loss forecasts to assist and drive collections. ECM also identifies all risk ‘hotspots’ to prevent Fraud

 

How does ECM calculate Loss forecasts for the Non-Delinquent Portfolio

ECM has developed (and patented) the Risk Curve to establish and track risk in the Up-To –Date portfolio

 

What Loan Types does ECM Handle?

ECM majors in analysing all types of Instalment lending, e.g., Finance Leases, HP     and Consumer Credit, including Bank Overdrafts.   Mortgages and Credit Cards are currently being added

 

 Is ECM compliant for Basel 11, IFRS and other Regulatory Reporting

 Yes. ECM provides all the regulatory reports for current users and results have    been ‘back-tested’ and confirmed by Bank auditors

 

In what Language is ECM written?

      ECM is written in Java, A version in Oracle is currently in development for the French market. The version now in development  is also  web-enabled

 

What does ECM cost?

Current Bank users of ECM pay an annual license. The options of outright purchase or a license arrangement are offered.

The cost of ECM is influenced by the number and size of portfolios, also  the number of users who access it monthly. ECM is designed to be scalable and to be especially competitively priced for the ‘Tier 2 Banks.
